FENESTRAE Project: Open Call for Ideas in Energy & Agriculture

The FENESTRAE project has officially launched its Call for Ideas, inviting innovative SMEs, start-ups, university spin-offs, and professionals from the IPA ADRION Programme area to submit solutions that contribute to the energy transition and the decarbonisation of buildings and agricultural environments.
The initiative is designed to help promising innovations progress from the prototype stage toward market readiness while fostering cross-border collaboration across the area.
Key Focus Areas
The Call is looking for innovative solutions in the following fields:
- Smart buildings and innovative building envelopes
- Energy efficiency and decarbonisation
- Advanced materials and smart surfaces
- Innovative agriculture and greenhouse technologies
- ICT solutions for energy monitoring and management
What Selected Participants Receive
Following an international evaluation process, up to four companies will be selected to participate in the FENESTRAE Cross-Border Consulting System.
Please note: Rather than receiving direct financial grants, selected participants will gain access to a personalised package of consulting services delivered by experts from the project partnership.
Depending on their specific needs, the selected companies will receive tailored support in:
- Technical validation
- Business development
- Investment readiness
- Regulatory compliance
- International market access
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to entities based within the IPA ADRION Programme area, including:
- SMEs and construction companies
- Agricultural and agri-tech enterprises
- Deep-tech start-ups and university spin-offs
- Professionals developing solutions with an indicative Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 4 and 6
