The new edition of Stories of Cooperation is out! This time, in the series of articles written by IVY volunteers and published by Interact, our IVY Reporter Beatrice Selice covered the project INTER-CONNECT, illustrating the project’s effort to improve connectivity in the Adriatic-Ionian Region. The article highlighted the success of an integrated transport measure developed by the project in the Emilia-Romagna region. Thanks to INTER-CONNECT, tourists and citzens can now profit of the Rail Smart Pass, an integrated ticket available on the touristic cities and coastline towns of the Romagna Riviera which can be used both for bus and train rides. In this occasion, Beatrice had the opportunity to interview Andrea Corsini, President of Start Romagna, the provider of the integrated ticket, and Glykeria Myrovali, engineer from CERTH, partner of the project.
The edition featured also an editorial by Moray Gilland, Head of D1 Unit (DG REGIO), and Pascal Arimont, Member of European Parliament, highlighting the strategic value of Interreg and reflecting on the future of European territorial cooperation.
