INTERCLUSTER is moving towards sustainable logistic practices while providing an opportunity for stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities within the logistics sector in the Adriatic-Ionian region.
Our funded project INTERCLUSTER has announced the launch of the Adrion Logistics Cluster, which will be presented during the Kick-off Assembly on March 18th, 2026 in Bari from 15:00 to 17:30 in hybrid format. The conference, organized together with the Airport authorities of Puglia, will be aimed at introducing objectives, governance structure, and future activities of the cluster as well as promoting collaboration among key stakeholders.
The Adrion Logistics Cluster will be also tested the next day, during a demontration event at Aeroporti di Puglia in Bari Palese. The Demonstration Event will showcase project tools and give the opportunity to test digital solutions developed within the project:
- the e-networking and business support platform: tool to facilitate cooperation between companies and logistics operators;
- the “Warehouses and Logistic Centers” application: digital system to connect supply and demand for storage spaces and logistics services, aiming at improving the use of existing infrastructures while reducing inefficiencies and costs;
- the “Optimal Route Planner” application: tool for intelligent transport route planning that analyzes multiple operational parameters to optimize routes, reduce delivery times and decrease the environmental impact of logistics activities.
At the end of the morning session, the Demonstration Event will offer a space for discussion on the opportunities offered by the tools developed by INTERCLUSTER.
INTERCLUSTER project has the goal to create a macro-regional logistics cluster in the ADRION area to bring together public authorities, logistics companies, research institutions and NGOs to tackle common challenges in the logistics sector through a more unified approach.
