The Mission4Water Project is excited to announce the launch of its 1st Open Call for Innovative Projects, inviting SMEs, research institutions, and key stakeholders to contribute to sustainable solutions for water pollution challenges in the Adriatic-Ionian region. This initiative fosters co-innovation and collaboration across sectors to drive impactful environmental solutions.

Call for Applications

We invite applicants to submit use case proposals aimed at reducing pollutants in water ecosystems. This Open Call seeks scalable and innovative solutions that will contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable water environment.

About Mission4Water

MISSION4WATER is an initiative designed to enhance innovation among SMEs in the Adriatic-Ionian (IPA ADRION) region through stakeholder collaboration within the quadruple helix innovation model (academia, industry, government, and civil society). The project focuses on advancing green innovations and clean technologies to combat water pollution.

Key objectives include:

  • Fostering cross-border and cross-sector collaboration across four value chains: polymers, textiles, household appliances, and water treatment.
  • Serving as a co-innovation lab to help SMEs integrate emerging technologies and knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Establishing a sustainable collaboration model and generating 20 innovative solutions to tackle water pollutants.
  • Promoting shared knowledge and best practices to enhance environmental sustainability and economic competitiveness in the region.
