The search for Europe’s most outstanding cohesion policy projects has officially begun! The REGIOSTARS Awards 2025 are now open for applications.
Organized annually by DG REGIO since 2008, this competition recognizes EU-funded projects that drive regional development and showcase innovation, impact, and inclusivity.
Does your project contribute to economic, social, or environmental progress? Has it introduced new solutions or made a lasting difference in your region? If so, apply for the REGIOSTARS Awards before 20 May 2025 and gain visibility across Europe!

- A Connected Europe
- A Social and Inclusive Europe
- A Europe Closer to Citizens
A jury of high-level academics will evaluate the submissions, selecting finalists who will compete during EU RegionsWeek in October 2025. Additionally, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite project.
Winners will be announced at the grand REGIOSTARS ceremony and will receive a dedicated promotion campaign to showcase their achievements!
