On 26 June, Interreg-funded projects will take center stage during an event held as part of the annual gathering R2B – the International Exhibition on Research and High Skills for Innovation, which brings to Bologna best practices and key actors in the field of research and innovation through workshops, networking opportunities, and conferences.
The conference, “The Role Played by Interreg for the Research and Innovation Sector,” (il contributo dei Programmi Interreg per la ricerca e l’innovazione) will showcase two IPA ADRION-funded projects: PADRION, which focuses on increasing innovation in public administration, and A4SUSTINNO, which supports SMEs and start-ups in their access to the market. The event will offer an opportunity to promote Interreg programmes as a tool for fostering a transversal approach through transnational networks. It will illustrate the contribution of Interreg programmes to research and innovation and to the transfer of research results, highlighting projects and outcomes that support smart specialization, digital transition, and regional competitiveness in areas such as the Blue and Green Economy.
